Saturday morning sunrise

After hearing from friends about how beautiful the sunrises have been the last few days, I decided to try and get up early Saturday morning to do some photography. I'm not a morning person and I got up later than I would have liked (and missed the really spectacular color) but still managed to catch the end of great sunrise. After shooting the sunrise, I headed down to Tuttle Creek lake to try and get some shots of the fog rising over the outlet area.
A few photos from this morning's trip can be viewed here.
Enjoy!

Impressive image. I especially love how you managed to keep the definition even in the low light.
I wonder what it is...we've had some spectacular sunrises here in South Carolina too. Unfortunately, most of the greatness of the sunrise is seen through the windshield (driving kids to school) or the rear-view mirror (headed home after drop-off). I did remember to bring my camera one morning, and captured a few images through the side view mirror...and stopped at the entrance to my neighborhood to photograph the sun between the "cans" (we have two small grain silos in our circle that remind me of old milk cans). I haven't offloaded the pictures yet though...
