I went for a drive Saturday evening and ended up spending almost the entire trip just driving. I went by a couple of controlled burns and some nice landscapes, but I decided to just spend time watching and looking rather than photographing. It was a relaxing evening…sometimes you just need a drive in the country! On my way back the sun was really beautiful as it neared the horizon so I finally did decide to make a couple of photographs.
For this photo I underexposed the scene and selected a location where a section of fence along the side of the road was silhouetted besides the sun. This photo just seemed to sum up my evening for me…a relaxing drive through the country side.
